Okay, so we've established that I'm terrible at updating you guys- PLEASE accept my heartfelt apologies! I can't say I'll get much better at it, but the apologies are always honest! If you haven't already heard the big news (make that HUGE news...), Brad & I are having our first baby, a girl, this June! As you can imagine, we are incredibly excited!!! Here’s a preemptive strike for those of you who always write in saying “Why didn’t you tell us you were going to be on an episode of (insert name of television show or talk show here) !” I know I'm terrible about keeping you in the loop, so... A few months ago, I did an episode of the FOX show Til Death. The show stars Brad Garrett & Joely Fisher, and let’s just say that this particular episode boasts a fun little Blossom reunion!! If you feel like watching, it’s slated to air on Sunday, April 25th. You will have to check your local listings for a time... -Jenna
I hope you all had a safe and fun 4th of July weekend! Thanks to the overdose of caffeine I had this morning, this month’s updates are going to happen at warp speed...
1. You’ve waited so patiently for my upcoming EP, “Coffee & Men (An EP For Childish Adults)”, that I wanted to find a way to show my appreciation... I’m giving you a chance for a sneak preview (or rather, a sneak listen...)! I’ve posted three of the songs from the album on my Fan Club “Home” page. Being a fan club member is the only way to access the songs, so If you haven’t already joined my fan club, you can buy a membership on my site store. Being a fan club member gives you access to all sorts of fun anecdotes, news, photos, and sneak previews... including, of course, those three songs from my EP!
2. A few months ago, I filmed segments for a new show called “The Great Debate” on VH-1. Those episodes begin airing this evening, July 6. Lord only knows what crazy comments I made (you all know how caustic I can get...), so watch it at your own risk!

The Endless EP Excuse...
I’m still working on the artwork for my EP, so please don’t give up on me! I know, I know, I’m moving at snail's pace over here, but I want everything to look just right... I am, however, planning to post a few audio clips of the new EP on my FAN CLUB SITE ONLY! Translation: if you do not already have a Fan Club Membership, you will need to order one from my e-store! Those clips should be up in the next week or two, so get that membership, and you can listen to them before everyone else!!

A belated "Thank you" to all of you who sent birthday wishes my way this month! It always amazes me how many of you remember... you really know how to make a girl feel special! I appreciate you all, and it means more than you know...

I also just got back from Los Angeles, where I spent a month working on various projects (including a fun show for VH-1, called The Great Debate, on which I am my silly, caustic self!). I had some incredible experiences while I was out there, not the least of which is, I got to meet President Obama! It was quite a thrill for me, as I’m sure you can imagine. In fact, I received my official White House photo yesterday in the mail… in it, President Obama is laughing, and as usual, I have a goofy expression on my face. Lord only knows what I was saying to the man! I know you are all thinking “why is she telling us about this if she isn’t going to post the ridiculous photo? Shouldn’t we ALL be able to make fun of Jenna?” Well, the answer to that is: sometimes bad photo moments are meant to be kept to ourselves. I promise I‘ll be self-deprecating enough for all of us!
I know you guys ask about the pups often… they are doing great! They (especially Bailey) have been a little worried over the tornado-inducing thunderstorms we’ve had lately in Nashville, but they are happy to have their Mommy back home from the West Coast. Mia (“The Moo”) turns two years old next week, can you believe it? I would say it feels like just yesterday that I got her, but I’ve been through the ringer with that one, so two years seems about right! Fortunately, there haven’t been any recent vet trips, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that she’s growing up a little...

Everyone loves a shameless plug, so here's mine... "Blossom" is being released on DVD tomorrow ( January 28, 2009), by Shout Factory!! It certainly wouldn't hurt my feelings if you all went out and bought a copy, so I'll give you some incentive, by providing a handful of reasons to do so...
1. You can spend hours indulging your inner child. It will be like jumping into a time machine, and rediscovering the 90's... scary though that may be.
2. You can make of fun of all of my crazy, ridiculous dance moves. Turns out, there was actually a time when I thought doing the "Roger Rabbit" could be taken seriously.
3. You can be reminded, as I was, why you will never again sport a flowered hat or bright purple cowboy boots.
4. You can reminisce about Joey Lawrence, back when he had Fabio-like status... and hair.
5. You can support little ol' me!
First and foremost, I wish all of you a safe, happy, and blessed holiday season. I hope you are spending it as I am... surrounded by the ones you love, laughing endlessly, and stuffing yourselves with good food. I am looking forward to a fun 2009, and here are a few things I hope you will look forward to along with me...
1. For all of you long-time "Blossom" watchers, the DVD of seasons 1 & 2 is finally being released on January 27th! Currently, I only have a few episodes in my possession, so I am waiting for this release with bated breath. I must admit to some minor amounts of fear and dread as well... there's something about having all of your goofy, awkward years on tape that is a little terrifying. That being said, I was thrilled to be a part of the bonus features, and I even got a little cast reunion out of it!
2. I've been a busy little bee in the recording studio, and I will be releasing an 8 song EP (I don't have an exact release date yet) in the near future. It is tentatively titled "Coffee & Men (An EP For Childish Adults)" , and it is VERY kitschy and left of center. I wouldn't want to mislead anyone- for those of you who bought my first album, this is NOT intended to be a sequel... in fact, it isn't country at all. I wrote all of these songs for the purpose of pitching them for television and film use, so I sort of play a character in all of them. They are, however, quite fun and silly, so I am working on making the album available to you as well... stay tuned!
3. I recently did an interview for People magazine's music section, so keep your eyes open for it!

As you can imagine, life has been pretty hectic since the release of "Breathing Room".I am still reeling! Some phenomenal things have been happening which I am extremely proud of, including the most recent excitement: "Breathing Room" was listed as a staff favorite on iTunes! What a huge accomplishment for an independent artist! I know you are all wondering when and where I will be performing. Brad (Fan Liaison Extraordinaire) and I are working very hard to begin scheduling some tour dates for next year, so please be sure to give us your recommendations for cool, intimate venues in your area. We'll take all the help we can get!

It's official... I am finally selling my debut album, "Breathing Room" on my site store!!! Barring any unforeseen holdups, the album is due out on September 18, 2007. Welcome to the new, drastically altered, and (I hope you'll agree...) improved www.jennavonoy.com! I realize this has been a long time coming, and I appreciate the patience you have shown us while we cleaned house. The new site brings some very exciting news along with it, namely the impending release of my upcoming independent album, "Breathing Room"! Although I do not yet have an exact release date, I hope you'll all bear with me, and keep checking back for more information. Recording an album is a very long and intricate process, and I want to be sure I offer you the best representation of me that I possibly can. I hope you'll all embrace this new endeavor of mine with open arms... I am very excited to finally be pursuing a passion that I have been forced to put on the back burner for many years! For those of you who have been asking about my acting career, I promise I haven't entirely ditched it... I have been very focused on making music my priority, but rest assured I have not given up on it. I will let you know about future projects as soon as I do!
