As you may have read in our first interview
with Jenna, she was working on a cartoon project called "Pepper Ann". Her character's name in
this cartoon is Trinket and "she is more or less a whinier, more
vindictive version of Six" as Jenna said. To provide some more detailed
information about this cartoon series, we searched the net and
found the following...
From KXTV children's programming information (1997/1998):
Disney's "Pepper Ann" - Ages 10-12
This program brings a girl's perspective to
children's television. Inspired by the real-life, childhood
memories of series producer Sue Rose, each half-hour episode
finds Pepper Ann Pearson on an eternal quest for coolness,
riding the emotional roller-coaster of adolescence as she
deals with all her daily life crises, wonderfully warping
with each triumph and pitfall.
From The Disney Network:
PEPPER ANN (voiced by "E.R.'s" Kathleen Wilhoite)
gives us the inside scoop on life as a tween -- no longer
a kid, not yet a teenager. Active, confident and full of
energy, she's after acceptance, unabashed adulation -- and
a little local fame wouldn't hurt! At that tenuous crossroads
between childhood and adulthood, Pepper Ann is at odds with
both worlds.
Her mom is a single, working mother. As the oldest child of
a single parent, Pepper Ann loves and misses her Dad but feels
like she fits in because divorce is so common among her
classmates.
