Introduction

I was fortunate enough to have been invited to the 35th annual Academy of Country Music Awards not too long ago. (Perhaps some of you watched the show on CBS...) As you may recall, a good friend of mine who works in Nashville inside the music industry had invited me to the Capitol Records party after last year's award show ~ this year he was kind enough not only to take me to the awards show itself, but to introduce me to numerous singers, songwriters, and music publishers. More doors were opened than you can possibly imagine!

I met so many wonderful people, that I am currently headed back to Nashville for various meetings and writing sessions. (This is not to say that I have a record deal yet, just that I am making progress...) I hope you all have a wonderful Summer. Wish me luck in Nashville, and enjoy the photos I have included from the events surrounding the ACM awards...
